Design??
So I've been working on redoing this site and making it fun for myself to use. I love the programming part, but it's been a while since I've done web stuff, so I thought I'd catch up on the indieweb. Oh, interesting, microformats for identity. Cool.
Then I came across a page on design and was reading how infrastructure and protocols don't matter, it's all about the feelz. There were some fun and some unusable (arghh, my eyes) examples, but really, I don't have much time for people that abbreviate User Experience as UX. Or really for people that think that User Experience is a serious problem. I'm more of the "don't make me think" school of web design.
Reading further down there were some links to more articles, one about how blue is a bad colour. Oh noes! I owe it to the world to try to improve my bad attitude, so I clicked on the link. Why tech's favorite color is making us all miserable.
